Zenmed:The hero that will save my skin? | REVIEW

Hello everyone,
Comments like "You should wash your face, you should drink more water, you should stop eating junk food" are what acne suffers like me know all too well*rolls eyes*.When your face is covered in spots, zits, blackheads, whiteheads and ohhh just about the whole medical list of skin problems(yay)you try everything from downing litres after litres of water to avocado face masks because you're adamant that you won't say stop till the dream of pretty perfect skin is achieved.

Luckily for me though,my skin has begun clearing up although I'm yet to see my skin return from a splodgy red state to the smooth and beautiful it once was but with the help if Zenmed I think I'm finally in for a chance of seeing those dreams become reality.

I have tried countless of different treatments ranging from about 16637380 different Clean and Clear products, herb pills,Korean skincare recommended by a sales assistant and simple lifestyle changes so I have to admit,Zenmed products would've had to do a lot to impress me!However after finding out about their wonderful efforts to protect the environment, use of organic ingredients and the fact that they're cruelty free I already knew that we had got off on a good start.

A little introduction to Zedmed
The brand was started off in 1999 which means that the brand has had years of experience hanging on their shoulders.Since they began almost 20 years ago they have helped out hundreds of desperate people of all ages just like me who want to achieve their goals of healthier looking skin-want proof?Just head over to their website to have a nosy round at the results their customers received from using their specially formulated products here at:https://zenmed.com/beforeafter/

My favourite thing about the brand is how conscious they are about protecting what matters to what should really matter to each and every single one of us.Each bottle that houses their products is made from 100% recycled material that could easily be recycled to be used again so that it won't end up in landfills which take hundreds if not thousands of years to degrade.Whats more,Zenmed are proud to admit that none of their products are tested on defenseless animals so each time you pick up something of their's everything sports a cute cruelty free logo.
To begin with, after removing my makeup with micellar water I began with this facial cleansing gel each night and morning which boldy claims to be gentle enough that it won't cause over drying...I was pretty skeptical about this because I've tried many face washes for acne and all do just that.Well that claim lived to be true and I was very surprised! This has got to be my favourite cleanser yet(even beating my much loved hot cloth cleansers)because the smell is impeccably calming and its so easy to use.Certified organic aloe vera makes up part of the ingredients which is super for any person who wants something gentle and calming for their already agitated skin.

Even though it was sent as a sample I absolutely love it,the 8 ml packet provides a generous 5-6 applications for me which is enough to last me for about a month or so and I couldn't be happier! It's a godsend when you want to give your face a good scrub to reveal a fresh layer skin before treating yourself to the full skincare routine at the end of a long week.
The scrub is creamy at first but scrubs up into little balls of jojoba microspheres that are gentle but effective and wash off easily.

Glycolic Booster Acid
Yup it's may sound a bit scary(eh?Who puts acid on their face?)but trust me,has done my skin a world of wonders! At first I didn't believe it did a lot apart from make my skin smooth along with a filmstar glow but overtime I noticed that the hyperpigmentation which I had suffered tirelessly from in the same exact places for many months was beginning to clear away-in a matter of less than two weeks of use due to the skin resurfacing aim.Its pricy but this serum has done me proud.
On the contrary,I have to admit that the serum is tricky to put on though as it's so liquidy but I found that its best to put it on directly with the dropper then quickly slide it all over to create a fine film.Yes,it stings but don't worry,it doesn't hurt what so ever...I think the best way to describe it is that it almost just feels like tingling so you know that theres an effect which is genuinly happening.

How do I start?I like it but I have to admit that I don't love it.Perhaps I need to give it a chance because it has won the 'Top rated beauty products by TotalBeauty.com' but I don't think I've noticed much difference as the main purpose of this spray(which you use 'like' a toner)is meant to gradually exfoliate skin gently therefore preventing breakouts. On the other hand,I do believe that it has actually improved my skin slightly by really injecting hydration back in which is spectacular for a girl who regularly uses harsh ingredients to combat her oily skin*bleugh*.

I've seen the positive 5 star reviews so I shall continue using the product in hopes of seeing a more noticeable difference in the future.

Now this was the product which I was really, really looking forward to...AND OH MAN I LOVE IT!Despite the fact that it is a bit of a struggle to squeeze out,I can look past that because the 2 in 1 mask and spot treatment itself is pretty effective. It has all the traditional acne fighting ingredients like 2% active salicylic acid and witch hazel that blasts the unwanted "bezzies" away in the matter of a few days or so.
The mask is montmorillonite-clay based and like the cleanser,it smells calming and smooths over skin gently and gives off a slight stinging sensation due to it containing certain ingredients. After about 3 minutes I find that it dries to form a white layer over my skin but it goes quite creamy when you put it into contact with water.I love how easy it washes off and I really do belive that with regular use it can prevent blemishes from paying a visit.
Would I recommend this brand?
Yes,yes and yes.Of course the prices are a bit high but if you put into account that all they're products are made in the USA,contain no synthetic ingredients, are paraben and sulfate free as well as most importantly environmentally friendly you can't complain. Also I think that being cruelty free puts them up into another level-what's not to love about a friendly, humane brand?

Furthermore I can't explain how much I think that the products have made a difference to my skin!Beforehand,my skin was dried out from my old cleansers but once I turned to Zenmed all those troubles went away.Today my skin is less scarred with hyperpigmentation and it does not just feel but look  much more alive, smooth and vibrant(achieving radiant skin has been something that I have struggled with for a long time).

What was your favourite product/s?
I think my favourite has got to be the Dermacleanse Acne mask & Spot treatment as its fab at drawing out impurities, paticularly the pesky blackheads which seem to hate me.In addition,I also have been enjoying using the Glycolic Acid that is meant to renew damaged skin as it does really live up to it's claim and I love how much healthier my skin looks once it is washed off every night(not even my favourite Korean sheet masks give me so much glow).
